Beat Cut is a free automatic video editor that cuts your footage in time with your music. It analyses the track to find the strongest beats, looks at your clips to avoid cutting across scene changes that are already there, and assembles a finished vertical reel — all locally, using WebAssembly, inside the browser tab you already have open.
No footage to hand? The editor can load a set of demo clips and a track for you, so you can go from opening the page to a finished edit in a couple of taps.
Yes. You can make and export as many edits as you like at no cost. Free exports carry a small watermark. A one-time Pro purchase removes it; there is no subscription.
No. The entire editing pipeline runs inside your browser, so your video and audio files are read straight from your device and processed in memory. When you close the tab they are gone. See the privacy policy for the detail.
No. Beat Cut has no sign-up and no login, so there is no name, email or password to give.
Yes. Load any audio file from your device, or start from one of the tracks bundled with the editor. You are responsible for having the rights to any music you add to a video you publish.
Yes. Beat Cut runs in a mobile browser as well as on a desktop. Rendering uses your device's own processor, so a newer phone or computer will finish a long edit faster.
Edits can run from a few seconds up to the full length of the song. Because everything is held in browser memory, very large sources — roughly 500 MB and above — may run out of memory on some devices.
Buy Beat Cut Pro once, then paste the license key into the box in the editor's footer. The unlock is stored on that device and every later export renders without a watermark.
